woohoo for firsts!
My super fantastico Baba gave me my first ever drawing tablet. It's totally different from drawing on paper, because you're not looking down on the tablet to see what your pen is doing. They do have a tablet like that but then I would prolly eat nothing but air for a month if I had to get one. Too bad air doesn't have flavors. Mmm...ice cream air....

Unwrappin' Gifts
It's time for the great American consumerist holiday season~ which means I get more ads to fool around with. Hooray! I've been in this massive collage phase for the past few months. Since I don't really care if my artwork is salvageable or even gallery worthy...they're all glued back to back hidden in my sketchbook. Enjoy the next few weeks of peeking into the madness.

Magnify Magnificent!
Magnifying glass and a camera? Ready to go bug Mr. Brown! He barks at the magnifying glass, probably because from his view my face is all crazy.

Bath Time!
You have to butter up Mr. Brown when you want to do some grooming. For instance, I'll come rub my dog. If he lets me rub his paws...SNIP! Off comes a piece of pawnail. And a few weeks of do-not-touch-my-paws attitude from Mr. Brown. And this week, before I gave him a bath, I let him sunbathe outside for a bit, before I whisked him off for a shower.

Wind Through Your Hair
I LOVE OIL PAINTING. The consistency, the textures, the layering....it's amazing.
This came out when I had this crazy urge to oil paint after a year's hiatus. The stock picture was a fantastic inspiration. People who've sat with me in class know that I paint SUPER FAST. Then I move on to another painting, or destroy the one in front of me to put something new on it.
Unfortunately, oil paint doesn't come cheap...so I haven't painted anything new in a while... Maybe it's time to start asking people to give me oil paint as a holiday present instead of food. Unless it's maple bacon ice cream. Mmmm...bacon.

Kick Brown Kick!
Sometimes Mr. Brown doesn't eat his morning meal. Today was one of those unfortunate days. I come back from work hours later and there's this marching line of ants leading to his food bowl. Oh, bother!

See BROWN See!
Mr Brown has a habit of sitting on my lap whenever I eat something delicious. Yesterday my daddy was breaking dog biscuits into bite size pieces. So of course, Brownie loitered in the area and literally bit the cookie while my daddy was breaking it in half with a sharp tool. Hunger has no bounds!

Rub Sum
Dim Sum stayed over recently and my fambam has dubbed him "Ah-Sum," which sounds like "awesome." But this little punk sometimes makes this scary squealing, squawking noise when you rub his belly.

Bert, fill in the spaces
I am one of those meticulous note takers, but as people who looked over my notes found out, I also doodle for half of the time in some classes. Mostly out of boredom. Bert was realized when I was studying massive amounts of Italian vocabulary words. Don't get me wrong, mi piace l'italiano!
