Bath Time!
You have to butter up Mr. Brown when you want to do some grooming. For instance, I'll come rub my dog. If he lets me rub his paws...SNIP! Off comes a piece of pawnail. And a few weeks of do-not-touch-my-paws attitude from Mr. Brown. And this week, before I gave him a bath, I let him sunbathe outside for a bit, before I whisked him off for a shower.

Wind Through Your Hair
I LOVE OIL PAINTING. The consistency, the textures, the layering....it's amazing.
This came out when I had this crazy urge to oil paint after a year's hiatus. The stock picture was a fantastic inspiration. People who've sat with me in class know that I paint SUPER FAST. Then I move on to another painting, or destroy the one in front of me to put something new on it.
Unfortunately, oil paint doesn't come cheap...so I haven't painted anything new in a while... Maybe it's time to start asking people to give me oil paint as a holiday present instead of food. Unless it's maple bacon ice cream. Mmmm...bacon.

Kick Brown Kick!
Sometimes Mr. Brown doesn't eat his morning meal. Today was one of those unfortunate days. I come back from work hours later and there's this marching line of ants leading to his food bowl. Oh, bother!
