Must have brains...

My coworkers get these random answers when they ask questions.....so here is a diagram of why food is important! You need glucose to make those darn ATP's!

Henny goes A HAH HAH HAH HAH!

I have a little hairy niece who is basically hunky dory 24/7. My brother-in-law and I basically sum her mood up like this, "a hah hah hah hah hah" in a squeaky scratchy voice. Henny's innards are probably made of sunshine, candy, and rainbows (sorry about poor quality! scanner is awol!)

Sometimes Henny doesn't get sad even when my sister goes kablammo-bonkers.

On a side note, she has booties now for rainy day walks.

Dog Costume Party

Monny Mon and I are still figuring out what our doggies should wear for our pumpkin carving party. So here are some fun ideas with our Mister Brown as a model. Fact: He did wear a pumpkin costume before.

Jason and the Brussely Brussels Sprouts!

My lovely Boopsie and I went to see the Mrazmatazz strum his guitar yesterday at his Tour is a Four Letter Word music concert! It was super exciting! :)

He said he just planted his brussels sprouts, which sums up as really quirky sweet. So here Jason is, singing along with his brussels sprouts that soon shall come!

Sincerely, O.G.

Recently watched Phantom of the Opera, 25th Anniversary at the Royal Albert Hall. I like how the original stage musicals have tons of great music that gets omitted or lost in movie versions. :P  Rock + opera = bellissimo.

Buzz and Woody. Woody and Buzz.

Toy Story! Hooray! I was one of those kids whose every toy had a name and a personality. It was almost as if they were alive, just like these guys were alive and kickin in this movie.

Snow White Skin, Blood Red Lips, Ebony Hair

Doesn't snow white totally sound like the ideal beauty standard in asia? Anyway...I thought Snow White and the Huntsman was definitely entertaining...and it spawned more watercolor studies! woohoo!

Foodscapes!

Back in college I made tons of food-scapes using meat pictures I found in the Nugget catalogs. Did they really have serious underlying themes? Let's just say this: it is what it is. It's like asking a preschooler if their armless girl drawing means the destruction of female rights in post-modern society. Just enjoy the madness and inherent lack of logic. :3

It's Hug Day!

Just a quickie comic. This is a true story. And yes, being mobbed by tons of tiny little children is really intense.

Nothin' But a Hound Dog

I've been trying to capture the wild, frenetic nature of my hairy niece. And all of that stuff that gets stuck in her beard when she goes on walks.

How To Listen to Lectures

I'd like to think this was mostly multitasking during lecture. But it probably wasn't. But look how many ways you can draw my hairy niece! Anyway...

Presenting: PreK Art

Coloring pages are a crutch. People say all this ridiculous stuff like "Oh it helps them draw in the lines to gain fine motor skills!" True creativity is not within the lines. I think a lot of famous people like Steve Jobs, John Lasseter, and Hayao Miyazaki come to mind. These children luckily have not reached that stage where they've internalized the concept of "I can't draw." I think people just say that because they've spent too much time staring at others' work and trying to live up to people's standards. Everyone. YES! EVERYONE. can draw.  Please enjoy my little buddies' art! :)

i've seen this boy draw praying mantises and angry birds 24/7

here's another tornado
This child said "red light, green light, yellow light"
a child drew plants vs. zombies
this child drew a "truck." he usually draws spiders. Tons of spiders.

Redoing Paintings

Geisha- 2011 repaint of artwork from 2009ish
I did this geisha painting in an acrylics class at the college experimental college, and boy it was ugly. My mom decided to prop it up recently, so I repainted over it. Maybe I'll do it again.....

leetle monsters

These fellas started out when I was hanging out with the Cubbies at Awana club, drawing on a butcher paper covered table. I would ask them how many eyes I should draw, and they'd tell me like 10 or 4. Here's just a few more I doodled while at home :B
